Ship Varitations come in three forms. Colour Variations, Artwork Variations, And Structual Variations
A colour variation usually covers most or all of the ship and is not usually localised to one particular area.
A artwork variation is usually a mark or symbol localised to one particular area (eg teeth on a COBRA MK3)
A structural variation is part of a ship that is changed in a certain way. (eg poles out the front of the Panther Clipper)
This is a cataloge of the varitaions possible in FFE. And by popular demand (well one e-mail actually) I have the Pink Lion Transport.
If you have any variations I have missed please e-mail and I will add them to the list.
IMAGES | SHIP NAME | TYPE OF VARIATION | DESCRIPTION |
COBRA MK3 |
Artwork Variation |
New Cobra 3's either come with a tooth pattern on the front or without. The tooth pattern is placed on the front on either side. I tend to purchase the patterened Cobra for no other reason then it looks cool.
CONSTRICTOR |
Artwork Variation. |
Similar to the Cobra Mk 3 the Constrictors tooth pattern is placed on either side. Either you love it or you hate it.
LIFTER |
Structual Variation |
The Lifter has 3t of space, and for each t of space is a cargo canister underneath is. While this may look good it has no actual bearing on what you have in your Lifter.
PANTHER CLIPPER |
Structual Variation |
Out the front of a Panther Clipper can be up to three pole type things. Although I think the look quite good they have no relationship to anything onboard. "Numero uno" sent me this 3 pole Panther Clipper from Frontier: Elite 2 somthing which I have never seen before. If anyone tracks down one of these in FFE please send it to me.

LION TRANSPORT |
Colour Variation |
*Bletch* A pink Lion. A Lion is bad enough without being pink! |
