In my early original Elite days I
remember blowing these things just to get the metal
alloys (Im talkin 2 shots from a pulse laser here) so I
was a bit unsure how good it would be. But the
Transporter is actually quite a nice ship. It is one of
the smallest ships with a turret but yet there is a comfy
amount of room for most things you want. Although not
fantastically manouverable the transporter is alright and
should get you out of most fights you have. Although the
Transporter is a bit of an eye-sore it's design has stood
the test of time, being originally used in the solar
system between Mars and Earth it was later fitted with a
Hyperdrive to reach out beyond the stars. Although it says you should have a fuel scoop you cant fit one. |
